Location: Grand Haven, Michigan
Project consisted of the replacement of 200A dead-front sectionalizing cabinets with 600A S&C PMH switchgear. New switchgear provides the ability to easily shift load between multiple distribution circuits. Circuit taps were sectionalized with 200A fused taps to increase system reliability for these critical industrial loads. Fault indicators, including SCADA contact outputs, were added to all cables to minimize outage time during fault locating.
