Location: Gaylord, Michigan
Project consisted of the replacement of 2.1 miles of overhead ground wire with optical-ground wire (OPTGW). OPTGW was installed for relay communication purposes between METC's Livingston Substation and WPCI's Gaylord Substation. Design included installation on existing steel substation structures in Livingston Substation and new 138kV structures in Gaylord Substation.
