WEST SPRING LAKE RD LINE RELOCATION

This project consisted of the relocation of 0.5 miles of double circuit
overhead distribution line for a road widening project. The line
consisted of both a 13.2kV spacer cable and a 2.4kV open-wire
circuit. A new 13.2kV Hendrix circuit was constructed for
increased circuit capacity along the new centerline and the existing
aerial spacer cable circuit was transferred to the new pole line and is
operating at 2400V. Transfer of the existing spacer cable was
completed as a cost savings measure. Tree clearing was completed
in this highly sensitive area near Spring Lake following permission
from adjacent property owners.
